Oncology Rehabilitation

Supportive care, at every stage.

Physical therapy as part of supportive cancer care: before, during, and after treatment, in the comfort of home.

Care that meets the day you're having.

Treatment schedules are demanding, and energy can vary from week to week. Care at home removes the commute and the waiting room, and allows each session to be paced to how you're feeling that day.

Sessions are individualized and coordinated with the priorities set by your medical team. Care is provided in collaboration with your physicians; it does not replace medical treatment or oncology care.

Areas of focus

Where therapy can help.

  • Strength

Individualized, appropriately graded activity to support strength through the course of treatment.

  • Mobility

Moving through the home, managing stairs, and getting in and out of a car or bed with less difficulty.

  • Fatigue management

Pacing, positioning, and activity planning strategies built around your energy across a week.

  • Balance

Attention to steadiness and confidence on your feet, including safety within your own home.

  • Functional independence

Focus on the daily tasks you want to continue doing yourself, for as long as possible.

  • Meaningful activities

Goals defined by what you want to get back to, not by generic milestones.

This page is general information, not medical advice, and no specific outcome is promised. Please discuss physical therapy with your oncology team to determine what is appropriate for you.
